Meet, greet and darts tips for families and sports enthusiasts at the holiday venue
Stonham Barns Park – one of Suffolk’s premier leisure, retail and holiday destinations – is to play host to Suffolk darts legend Keith Deller on Saturday 9 July 2022 at 5.00pm.
The Ipswich-born darts star will visit the new Legends Sports Bar to meet and greet families and people from the Suffolk community to share some stories from his past. On the night he will be staging a pairs event which will be a 12-dart challenge. Winners of the challenge will get a signed Keith Deller shirt to take home!
A former professional darts player, he is best known for winning the 1983 BDO World Darts Championship – beating the mighty Eric Bristow in the final watched by a TV audience of 10 million – and the British Professional Championship in 1987.
In his recently released book 138: Game Shot and the Match, Keith, now 62, takes readers on an intimate journey as he relives his rapid rise from complete obscurity to lifting the game’s greatest prize as one of the youngest world champions in history.
He will be assisted on the night by actor and director of Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels Frank Harper – who has a keen interest in the sport and will be on hand to discuss the highlights of his career and how he likes to spend time relaxing in Suffolk.

Entry to the event is free. Food will be food available on the evening. Entry to the 12-Dart Challenge is £5.00 per person.
Legends Sports Bar is part of a new facility for the holiday park and it will also be the setting for some celebrity sports events covering a multitude of sports including darts, football, rugby, cricket, horse racing, and motorsport.
