Breeze Delivers ‘Knockout’ Performance at Glenn McCrory’s Charity Golf Day …
Breeze Redwine has supported boxing legend Glenn McCrory at his recent Golf Day at Ramside Hall in Durham attended by over 100 people.
The 19 year-old, Norfolk country-pop singer songwriter performed during the charity dinner hosted by former professional boxer Glenn McCrory who was an IBF Cruiserweight world champion. John H Stracey, former Welterweight world champion, was also at the event which was staged to raise money for the Children’s Christmas Wish Charity.
Breeze performed four of her songs at the event supporting ‘Swing King’ Cole Page. Among the songs performed was her new single Never Let You Go a single written by Breeze prior to signing a contract with the Suffolk leisure and music venue Stonham Barns Park in Suffolk in 2020. It is the second single under the new contract with the management company. The video for the new single was recorded in London’s Wild West ‘Moonshine Saloon’ and in the Suffolk-countryside. She sings rootsy ‘Norfolk-Nashville’ vocal on Never Let You Go, an ode to the fluidity of relationships.
Speaking about the event, Breeze, said: ‘It was an honour to be asked to perform at such a prestigious and important event which was in aid of a heart-warming children’s charity.’
‘I am happy that the day was a success and hopefully everyone will have enjoyed all the aspects of being together again in the way that we have not been for so long. It is important that charity events like this go ahead again as so many charities were hit hard by the pandemic.’
‘And with boxing giants Glenn McCrory and John H Stracey supporting the event, it was always going to be the success that it was!’
Added Ronan MacManus, Music Director at Stonham Barns Park: ‘Breeze excelled at this event. She is a gifted singer songwriter and she deserves the success she is now enjoying. She understands only too well how important it is to support charity events and she is making up for the lost opportunities from the pandemic by supporting as many as she can now that these events have been allowed to roll out again.’
Breeze Redwine has just announced a Mini Tour of the UK for September and October to go with her second single release. It will see her perform in Bristol, London, Norfolk, Felixstowe and Bournemouth.
