Motorcycle owners and enthusiasts are still enjoying evenings at Stonham Barns Park
Stonham Barns Park – in conjunction with Legends Sports Bar – is looking to celebrate the success of its 2023 series of Bike Nights with two end of season BBQ events on 31 August and 28 September.
The regular Thursday night meets – which can attract up to 300 motorbikes – have been running since the spring and will break up over the colder autumn and winter period. The two events will include a BBQ and entertainment at Legends Sports Bar, plus at the final one the events team will look to have motorcycle related stalls and a charity raffle.
There will be hot BBQ food along with drinks and a licensed bar for the pillion passengers. The event is open from 5pm to all and there is no need to book. All motorcycles, scooters, trikes and quads are welcome. For more information about our motorcycle nights please join our Facebook group @StonhamBarnsBikeNight
Terri Forward of Stonham Barns Park said: ‘Our motorcycle nights attract a wide range of enthusiasts and collectors with differing bike interests. There are first-time motorcycle owners and those who own rare and exceptional bikes including an awesome range of customs. It is an event that we run during the better weather to enable biker owners and followers to enjoy a social evening out!’
Adds Mark Warren, co-organiser of the event and motorcycle enthusiast of 50 years, ‘These events bring out increasing numbers of the biking community who enjoy a ride out during the lighter evenings.’
‘Suffolk has some of the most beautiful countryside with lovely roads and to combine an evening ride out with a meet up with like-minded owners. Our bikers always arrive and leave with respect for the people who live near the venue and so their presence is always very low impact. We have all enjoyed the meets and Stonham Barns Park is looking to put on a great couple of BBQ evenings to finish off the series.’
