Only 9 years old and riding 120 miles to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital

Abbey lives locally and goes to School at Stonham Aspal Primary School.

Abbey came first in the Under 10 National Championships this year and then decided to do something very difficult, a ride from Stratford in London to Dunwich which is around 120 miles. This is a long ride for a 9yr old, but she wants to do something for Great Ormond Street Hospital that her brother went to in his 1st year.

Abbey decided she wanted to ride past her School, which she should do at around 8pm Saturday evening (Live tracker: http://www.abbeythompson.co.uk/?page_id=156) . If you want to ride alongside Abbey (any sensible age) or give her a shout of encouragement, it would be really appreciated. We hope this detour might give her a bit of a lift at such a critical point in her charity ride.

Stonham Aspal is around 80 miles from the start and 30-40 miles to Dunwich. We think we will be riding through Stonham Aspal at around 19:30 to 20:00.

Abbey would love to see you, so please do ride with us or give a bit of encouragement.

If you use the following link, you will see us progressing towards you along the route tomorrow.

GOOD LUCK ABBEY
