Stonham Barns Park looks to another big darts final to end the 2024 Season
Stonham Barns Park – one of Suffolk’s premier leisure, retail and holiday destinations – is to host the final of a major darts tournament for 2024. The Super Series Darts Final will be staged on Saturday 7 December – and for the first year the event will feature a Suffolk Super Series Youth Open for Under 21s and Under 16s with free entry and a £200 prize fund on the same day, thanks to sponsors darts shop John Hogan Darts.
The Super Series Event covers 7 Grand Slam events at 7 venues with £7,000 to be won. Organised by Evolution Darts – with the support of Target Darts, competitors will be coming to play the final at the community venue The Barn from all over the County. Throughout the year players have gained points for how far they get in each event. The top 32 on the series points table have then qualified for finals day. The qualifiers include 2023 champion Jason Elvin, England international Jo Locke and seniors World Championship star Kevin Edwards to name just a few. Number 1 seed for the finals is former PDC star Jack Main but it really is an open field with all the qualifiers having a chance to take the title.
There will be a fully licensed bar available for players and supporters and spectators are more than welcome to come and enjoy some real quality darts.
Stonham Barns Park has been hosting various darts events at Legends Sports Bar – named in honour of a variety of sporting legends – since its opening with one being hosted by famous names from the world of darts Russ Bray and Ipswich-based Keith Deller.
Said Darren Moyes from Evolution Darts, ‘We are looking forward to the final of the Super Series tournament at Stonham Barns Park which has hosted some massive darts events over the course of the year.’
‘Coming together here will be the best of the best to see who will walk away with the prize. It’s going to be a very special event and we are hoping many spectators will come to see what it’s all about.’
‘We are running the new Youth Open to coincide with the final to make it an event for everyone – all ages welcome.’
‘It’s all fun. It’s all the showmanship that goes with a top darts event.’
