Following on from the hugely successful debut show last year, the Land Rover Show is returning to Stonham Barns Park on Sunday 6th October to exhibit the very best in 4×4.
The second show – for one of Suffolk’s premier leisure, retail and holiday destinations – will again be strongly supported by clubs from the area who will be displaying classic, modified, and new Land Rovers. The exhibits will include Freelander, Discovery, Defender, Evoke and Range Rover. Every display car driver, plus one passenger, will be admitted free.
There will be an auto jumble, club trade stands, live music and food outlets serving throughout the day’s event.
Suffolk Land Rover Club will be just one of the clubs at the show. To make the show more interactive, the club will be providing off-road rides on a specially made course to demonstrate the manoeuvrability, resilience, and handling of the unique 4x4s. This was a runaway success last year with many visitors opting for an off-road ‘experience’ to see how these vehicles could handle the lumps and bumps of the rural terrain.
This year the event is being supported by Farmers Guide – the UK’s leading monthly farming magazine. Celebrating the mutual countryside adoration and heritage surrounding 4x4s, the new partnership perfectly aligns with the company’s shared commitment to rural traditions and innovation, amplifying their dedication to showcasing the very best of off-road excellence.
Stonham Barns Park has a huge following in East Anglia as a leading show venue which combined with Farmers Guide’s reach of over 90,000 monthly farm readers and 65,000 online followers makes for a strong show attendance.
Lily Wakeling of Stonham Barns Park Events Team comments, ‘This show hit the ground running last year with its debut. There was so much enthusiasm brought to the show from clubs and individuals – and so many and varied 4x4s – that we cannot wait to put it all on again this time with the official support of the Farmers Guide team.’
Everyone loves a 4×4. They are the backbone of the farming community and bring fun to everyone. It’s so good to have a show to celebrate the wonders of everything 4×4.’
Farmers Guide Marketing Manager K.M Sharp adds, ‘Farmers Guide and Stonham Barns Park, both renowned for celebrating the rich heritage and vibrant culture of rural life, are excited to bring together farmers, enthusiasts, and families alike for an unforgettable Land Rover show on 6th October. This event will highlight the history, innovation, and fun of off-road vehicles that have become a staple for so many.’
We invite everyone to join us in experiencing the rugged charm and driver-friendly features of these remarkable vehicles, reflecting our commitment to showcasing the traditions and future of agricultural machinery.’
Said Terri Forward, Director of Stonham Barns Park, ‘We will have all the action and adventure here with back stories from the various exhibits courtesy of their owners. Some of these cars have been through some global challenges and some will have just left the showroom!’
It’s a mix of excitement, adrenaline and fun. We look forward to pulling out all the stops again to make this first show a memorable day out for everyone.’
Admission is £10 per adult, with free entry for under 12s.
