EVENT DESCRIPTION

Arise, arise, Warriors of courage!
Fell deeds awake, fire and slaughter!
Spear shall be shaken, shield shall be splintered, a sword day, a red day, ere the sun rises!
Ride now, ride now! Ride to Stonham!

The massive Saxon and Viking Festival returns once more to Stonham Barns Park, do not miss what is the biggest Dark Age event in all of East Anglia. Watch Stonham Showground transform into a Saxon and Viking army encampment, hundreds of warriors; traders and crafts man will descend.

Champions will want to make a name for themselves upon the field of battle; and lords will look to replace Jarl Sigaard as Lord of East Anglia.

Walk around the camps of the Saxons and Vikings smell the food being cooked, here the sounds of crafts being worked on; and try on the weapons and armour of the Dark Ages.

Take a wonder around the many traders selling their goods, listen to music from the time being played live. Witness armies of warriors fight for honour and victory, all while enjoying food and drink on site.

Then as the sun sets we have the amazing fire displays and the burning of the Viking boat to honour the fallen.

Also, due to their popularity, we have back again for a second year the amazing Viking Fire Performers with their unique visual spectacular high energy Viking Fire Show.

A range of food and drink outlets will be available on the showground with outdoor and indoor seating. We also have an onsite restaurant located in the shopping village or a tea room located in The Teapot Pottery or Legends Bar

Stonham Barns Park does not just offer great shows and events, we also have many attractions onsite including an owl and bird of prey centre, pirate adventure golf course, 9 hole golf course, vintage dodgem rides and funfair rides, fishing lakes, teapot pottery, restaurant and tea room and plenty of unique shops and much more.
