Hot Rods, Custom Cars, Bikes and ‘Kustom Kulture’ all celebrated in Sunshine at Stonham Barns Park

Stonham Barns Park has launched its fabulous, first car show of the season with the Spring Break Show.  It attracted hundreds of entries showcasing all things big, bold and custom including American vintage and custom cars, hot rods, and motorcycles.  Around 1000 people attended the show.

The ‘Kustom Kulture’ show – run in association with the Knuckle Busters Car Club – was staged on Sunday 12 May. The bright, colourful and music-based event was dedicated to all aspects of customisation from all makes and marques of vehicle from around the globe with car culture and costumes from as early as the 1950s.  There was a Show and Shine competition with trophies for the winners of all the different classes – including cars, custom vehicles and bikes including modern Harley-Davidsons, cruisers, bobbers and choppers.

There were also trade stands and an autojumble.

Top DJs and bands entertained visitors throughout the day with music and dance from the era including the music of J S and The Lockerbillies.

Josh Forward from Stonham Barns Park said: ‘The first car show of the 2024 season was a brilliant success.  So many creatively customised cars and a great attendance on the day.  This show always has a great atmosphere, and this year was no exception.’

‘So many people love custom car culture and the fashion and music that goes with it.’

‘The event was bright, brash and very nostalgic and we look forward to doing it all again next year.’

Forthcoming car events at Stonham Barns Park include The Japanese Car Show, The CTG American Car, Bike and Hot Rod Show, The Classic Car Show, American Car Show and the Land Rover Show.
