Keith Deller Set to Visit Stonham Barns Park New Sports Bar to meet and greet families and sports enthusiasts at the holiday venue.
Stonham Barns Park – one of Suffolk’s premier leisure, retail and holiday destinations – is to play host to Suffolk darts legend Keith Deller on Saturday 21 May 2022 at 7.00pm.
The Ipswich-born darts star will visit the new Glenn McCrory Sports Bar – named in honour of the former boxing champion – to meet and greet families and people from the Suffolk community to share some stories from his past and his thoughts on the highs and lows of today’s major sporting events.
A former professional darts player, he is best known for winning the 1983 BDO World Darts Championship – beating the mighty Eric Bristow in the final watched by a TV audience of 10 million – and the British Professional Championship in 1987.
In his recently released book 138: Game Shot and the Match, Keith, now 62, takes readers on an intimate journey as he relives his rapid rise from complete obscurity to lifting the game’s greatest prize as one of the youngest world champions in history.
Said Keith, ‘This new sports bar facility is a real bonus for the people of Suffolk and visitors to this fabulous holiday and leisure venue.’

Other famous names popping in on the day include former UK pro boxer Glenn McCrory and actor and director Frank Harper (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels).
McCrory’s Sports Bar is part of a new facility for the holiday park and it will also be the setting for some celebrity sports events covering a multitude of sports including darts, football, rugby, cricket, horse racing, and motorsport. Plans are already in place to replicate some Las Vegas-style events as well as family activities too.
