Stonham Barns Park welcomes the Pink Tractor Ladies – and gentlemen – for Charity Road Run
Stonham Barns Park is hosting the Pink Tractor Ladies on Sunday 25 September for a mini road run to raise money for Cancer Research UK. And this year the ladies will again be joined by the men who have been supporting them with fundraising.
The 20-strong tractor run will be be stopping at Stonham Barns Park at around 12.30 noon for a break, photo opportunities and some more fund raising.
All are welcome to come and see the tractors.
The tractor ladies and gentlemen – organised by Vicki Mayes and Martin Clements – will be collecting donations for Cancer Research UK along the way. The run starts at 10.00am and finishes at Mendlesham with a BBQ.
Explains Events Manager Fraser Carson ‘The much-loved Pink Tractor Ladies and Gentlemen will be stopping in at Stonham Barns Park to display their awesomely decorated vintage tractors as part of this year’s road run and we look forward to welcoming them here. It’s such a fun challenge for such an important charity which is always so well supported by everyone.’
‘We hope for good weather and trouble-free motoring for these men and women who love a charity challenge.’
Adds Vicki Mayes, ‘It is a really enjoyable event. We have more men joining us each year and their support is so important as we could not do the run without them. Some tractors will have a note of something pink to represent Cancer Research UK. Pink Tactor Ladies is all about making people aware that Cancer Research still needs more support to help care for and cure people from this horrible disease. We hope people will again give generously to Cancer Research UK.’
