Carrot Town Garage (CTG) American Car Show 2021 promises Muscle and Power

Show will feature anything American if it has an engine

The American Car Show 2021, in association with Carrot Town Garage, will hold its ever-popular club’s and private owner’s showcase day on Sunday 25 July (10am-4pm) at Suffolk’s Stonham Barns Park Showground at Stonham Aspal.

It will be a show strongly supported by the classic car community exhibiting a dazzling array of cars, trucks and hot rods.
Cars on show at the event will span the last six decades, and include Chevys, Mustangs, Buicks, Corvettes and Fords to name a few.

Each of the exhibits will arrive for a stunning static display before being expertly driven around the showground in the ‘Show & Shine’ parade.
MC for the day will be professional commentator John Price who will introduce the exhibits to the visitors.

Among the many attractions on the day will be trade and club stands and autojumble as well as food and drink concessions.

Commenting on the forthcoming show, Stuart Davies, who founded sponsors Classic American Car Dealership Carrot Town Garage, said: ‘We search American for cars that we would want to own ourselves and import them ready for sale in the UK.’

‘Many of these cars will be joining the other American cars on show to produce one of the finest shows of American muscle and power in the UK. It’s going to be an all-action show with some of the best cars and engines you have ever seen and heard.  As we like to say … You’re never late in a V8!’

David Sandpearl at Stonham Barns Park added, ‘It is the perfect day for American classic car enthusiasts from around the region. The classic car market has boomed during the pandemic, both here and in the US. With the fact that events were put on hold, the need for owners to attend some safe, socially-distanced ‘meet and greets’ is very real. You can’t suppress the enthusiasm of the owners – they are devoted to restoring and showing their prized vehicles and getting the exhibits together always makes for a stunning show.’

According to American classic car experts’ sales of vehicles have increased markedly as people with disposable income and more ‘time on their hands’ have been buying additional classics and spending money on refurbishing their collections to exacting standards.

Offering facilities to suit all ages, Stonham Barns Park has an indoor soft play area, pirate themed adventure golf, a shopping village, owl sanctuary, Meerkat castle, golf park, fishing lakes, children’s play area and fair rides. It also produces a huge variety of family shows and events.

Any necessary Covid-19 restrictions will be in place for the event which may include social distancing marshalling.
