Motorcycle owners and enthusiasts look forward to evenings at Stonham Barns Park

Stonham Barns Park – one of Suffolk’s premier leisure, retail and holiday venues – has announced it will soon be rolling out Bike Nights again for the spring and summer and months.

Starting from 2 May the regular Thursday night meets – which can attract up to 400 motorbikes – will be back again until September.  The early evening octane-fuelled weekly meet ups – supported by Lings Suffolk Triumph dealership – are popular with both motorcycle owners and enthusiasts alike.  This year there will be some Autojumble stalls at the venue too.

All motorcycles, scooters, trikes and quads are welcome.  The evenings run from 5.00pm to 9.00pm with hot and cold food, drinks and a licensed bar for pillion passengers. The event is free to enter – there is no need to book – and will be based outside Legends Sports Bar at the venue with outside catering trucks.

Terri Forward of Stonham Barns Park said: ‘Our motorcycle nights attract a wide range of enthusiasts and collectors with differing bike interests. There are first-time motorcycle owners and those who own rare and exceptional bikes including an awesome range of customs.  It is an event that we run during the better weather to enable biker owners and followers to enjoy a social evening out!’

Adds Bike Nights co-ordinator and motorcycle enthusiast Reg Hicks, ‘These events bring out many members of the Suffolk and Norfolk biking community who enjoy a ride out during the lighter evenings.’

‘Suffolk has some lovely scenic roads to combine an evening ride out with a meet up with like-minded owners. Our bikers always arrive and leave with respect for the people who live near the venue and so their presence is always very low key. We are adding some Autojumble stalls for this year’s events to see if this is something of interest to those who come along. Everyone is welcome.’
